Qom to Host Nat’l Conference on Quran Miracle

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A national conference on the miracle of the Holy Quran will be held in the holy city of Qom in November.

The Islamic Culture and Thought Research Center will organize the event.

According to Seyed Mohammad Hassan Javaheri, the head of the research center and secretary of the conference, said it will focus on the ideas and views of Allameh Seyed Mohammad Hossein Tabatabaei, ISNA reported.

Quranic miracle and Tahaddi (the Challenge), Quran’s scientific miracle, Quran’s rhetorical miracle, and other aspects of the Quran’s miracles will be discussed at the scholarly event.

Allameh Tabatabaei (1904-1981) was one of the most prominent thinkers of philosophy and contemporary Shia Islam. He is famous for Tafsir al-Mizan, a twenty-seven-volume work of Quranic exegesis, which he worked on from 1954 until 1972.
